• On January 1, 1950, the predecessor of Zhejiang Tea Group, China Tea Industry Corporation Hangzhou Branch, was established, marking the beginning of more than 70 years of magnificent development of Zhejiang Tea Company.
• Later, Zhejiang Tea Company decided to establish Zhejiang Tea Baihui' and initally set up two branches on Yar'an Road and Huimin Road. Afterwards, Ningbo store, Huzhou store, Jiaxing store, Hangzhou Hubin store, Keying store, Jianguo South Road store, and Yuemiao store were successively opened.
• After more than 40 years of development, the Lion Peak brand has grown into a leading brand in the West Lake Longjing category, a benchmark brand for comprehensive influence in the tea industry, a TOP 50 Chinese tea enterprise value (the first in the West Lake Longjing category), and a Zhejiang agricultural product brand. Now, it has been awarded the title of 'Hangzhou' time-honored brand, which is a recognition of the outstanding contributions made by Zhejiang Tea Lion Peak in the tea industry for a long time, and also a recognition of the brand value and influence of Lion Peak.
